Karan Haugh about my "Silence and Chopin"

Dorota Szumilas' "Silence and Chopin" is a wonderful, tiny orange book of poetry in Polish and English done in three sections "Jesien," "Zima" and "Wiosna," with many lovely, colorful illustrations.  Ms. Szumilas is a graduate of the Institute of Information Science and Book Studies at the University of Warsaw and Pontifical Faculty of Theology in Warsaw.  She is the author of several books of poetry which have been translated in many languages.The music of Chopin whether referred to directly or through human experiences reverberates throughout. Ms. Szumilas refers to her own personal experiences, relationships with friends, and God, and the music rings on.
